Verona is located ten miles southwest of downtown Madison. It has two of the top golf courses in Dane County with University Ridge Golf Course (public) and Hawk’s Landing (private with pool). Epic Systems moved its headquarters to Verona in 2005. Epic primarily develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells a proprietary electronic medical record software application to the nations top ranked hospitals and medical schools.
