Mount Horeb is located 20 miles southwest of Madison in Dane County. It’s known as “The Troll Capital of the World”. "The Trollway" is lined with troll statues, whether painted, sculpted, or carved from logs with a chainsaw, many are displayed on Main Street. Mount Horeb is also proud of its Norwegian and Norwegian-American ethnicity. The community displays and preserves its identity through the Mount Horeb Area Historical Society and Driftless Historium Museum.
